Did Sarah Palin slash Alaska's special ed funding? Do disability advocates support her?

The Huffington Post reports that Gov. Sarah Palin slashed special education funding.

The Philadelphia Inquirer claims that disability advocates support her, and Newsweek says having a baby with Down syndrome involved with the campaign will bring public awareness.
