DREDF starts YouTube channel

The Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF) has begun a channel on YouTube that features disability rights-oriented videos, like its documentary "The Power of 504."

"The Power of 504" is an award-winning 18-minute documentary video, which captures the drama and emotions of the historic civil rights demonstration of people with disabilities in 1977, resulting in the signing of the 504 Regulations, the first Federal Civil Rights Law protecting people with disabilities. It includes contemporary news footage and news interviews with participants and demonstration leaders.

DREDF, founded in 1979, is a leading national civil rights law and policy center directed by individuals with disabilities and parents who have children with disabilities.

DREDF also has a group on Facebook.
