Upcoming disability-themed film inspires Bob Dylan's new album

I posted about the new Renee Zellweger-Forest Whitaker film, "My own love song," in November. The Bob Dylan information is from ISIS, The Bob Dylan Magazine. Thanks to Alex for the tip.

Directed by Olivier Dahan, “My Own Love Song”, which finished shooting in Louisiana in early December 2008, is a road movie staring RenĂ©e Zellweger and Forest Whitaker. Co-written and directed by Kristin Gore, the film, a melodrama that flirts with comedy, traces the trip to Memphis made by a former singer confined to a wheelchair and one of her close friends, a fireman who has suffered an accident at work. Filming began in October in Kansas and Louisiana. It seems that Bob Dylan was approached to provide the soundtrack to this film and the story goes that when he went into the studio to record, he was so impressed with what he had he decided to record his own new album.
