Dakota Fanning to portray character with Asperger's

From The New York Times Women's Summer Fashion section. (This almost sounds like a fake movie description because it is somewhat bizarre, but this wasn't the April Fool's issue so I have no reason to question it. But someone let me know if this is fake.)
"Eleanor, Eleanor!" In perhaps the bravest casting of his career, Gus Van Sant directs Sean Penn in the role of Eleanor Roosevelt. The fantasy biopic explores what the first lady’s life would have been like if she had never married her distant cousin Franklin but had pursued a career as a social worker on the Lower East Side. Joaquin Phoenix returns to the screen after a three-year hiatus as her pickle-vending confidant. Dakota Fanning (pictured) makes an appearance as a budding flapper who struggles with Asperger’s syndrome.
