Here's what The Futon Critic says about its pilot:
MAGGIE HILL (FOX) - Alfre Woodard ("My Own Worst Enemy") has booked a role on the drama pilot, about a brilliant surgeon (Christina Cole) with schizophrenia. She'll play "the tough and whip-smart chief of cardiothoracic surgery who is Maggie's mentor." Stephen Hopkins is helming the hour from a script by Ian Biederman for 20th Century Fox Television.
It's always a concern when TV shows tackle mental illness, because sadly they usually do a bad job. FOX is also launching the show "Mental" on May 26.
