NY boy with Asperger's gets to keep his dog

From the NY Daily News:

The boy gets his dog.

The owners of a posh upper East Side high-rise have agreed to let 11-year-old Aaron Schein share his apartment with a pooch that doctors say will help him cope with an autistic disorder known as Asperger's syndrome.

The settlement ends a two-year standoff between Aaron's parents - hedge fund manager Mark Schein and Bronx prosecutor Maria Mostajo - and the owners of the E. 71st St. co-op where one-bedrooms fetch $1.5 million.

Manhattan federal prosecutors sued The Townsend House Corp. for violating the Fair Housing Act last year.
