After one closure, another school for students with autism may open in Mississippi

From WLBT-TV:

JACKSON, Miss. -- Central Mississippi may see the return of a school for autistic children.

Last month the University of Mississippi Medical Center announced it was closing its school for children with autism. Almost immediately, the state department of education was contacted by another university about reopening the school.

The name of the new university is not being released pending the reach of a deal for school's reopening. June 30, UMC closed the school that had served about 35 children diagnosed with autism and other developmental delays.
