Superfest International Disability Film Festival 2011 calling for entries until Jan. 15

SUPERFEST 2011 ENTRY FORM AND INFORMATION

To download the Superfest 2011 entry form, please go to the Superfest Website. It is in word (microsoft) format. Plese type form responses for clarity. If you are unable to download the form we can e-mail or mail a hard copy. If so, please send us an e-mail at info@culturedisabilitytalent.org or call us at (510) 845-5576.

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Please refer to the Superfest Synopsis, Frequently Asked Questions and Awards for more specific information about our film competition. Please contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to receiving your entry, and hope you will spread the word about our festival.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1.Work must be on the subject of disability.
2.Work must be about, feature or be appropriate for children or youth (up to age 24.)
3.Work must be open/closed captioned or sublititled in English.
4.Work must have been produced since January 1, 2005.
5.Work must be postmarked by January 15th, 2011. No exceptions.
6.All submissions must be in NTSC DVD Region 1 format.
7.Must send 2 copies of your film to assist with the judging process.

Superfest strongly encourages filmmakers to provide captioning and audio description so that films are accessible to the widest possible audience. For information and referrals on captioning films, click here.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST
1.Complete the 3-page entry form and double-check totals and information.
2.Check that media is in an acceptable format (NTSC DVD region 1).
3.Mail entry form, entry fee payable to CDT, & 2 dvd film copies to:

FINAL NOTES:
Judging takes place in Spring 2011, and winners will be announced on or around April 1st, 2011. (Announcements will be sent via e-mail to the contact person listed on the entry form.) Winners will be screened in the S.F. Bay Area in June 2011, and all entries will be listed in the festival catalogue. Winners will be asked to provide still production photos and film copies for publicity purposes.
