Second suspect in sexual assaults of disabled women in California arrested in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles County authorities say they have arrested a second suspect in videotaped sexual assaults of disabled women.

Sheriff's Captain Michael Parker said in a statement that 27-year-old Ernie Lloyd of Los Angeles was arrested Jan. 8 after he appeared at a Hollywood police station, saying he had seen himself on the news and knew he was wanted.

Parker says police officers had recognized Lloyd from photos and artist sketches of four men presented Thursday by sheriff's detectives who gleaned them from over 100 hours of video delivered anonymously to sheriff's headquarters in March.

Police had already identified one suspect, Bert Hicks, who is serving time in state prison for sex and abuse counts.

The videos show men sexually assaulting physically and mentally disabled women, some of them in diapers.
