How are journalists doing covering disability?
Sue LoTempio, the Assistant Managing Editor for Readership at The Buffalo News, writes a column for the journalism training center, The Poynter Institute, and I highly recommend it. It's one of the few places where a journalist who has a disability is critically looking at how the news media cover disability issues.
Her May 16 column was about how disability issues are being discussed (or not discussed) on the presidential campaign trail. You can see a list of her past columns for Poynter here.
