STOCKHOLM -- Shooter Jonas Jacobsson, a triple gold medalist at the Paralympic Games in Beijing, on Dec. 2 won Sweden's top sports honor.
Jacobsson was named the winner of the "Bragdguld" medal, awarded annually by newspaper Svenska Dagbladet to honor the biggest achievement by a Swedish athlete.
Jacobsson, 43, won gold medals in the mixed 50-meter free rifle, the men's 10-meter air rifle and the men's 50-meter free rifle in Beijing. He has won at least one gold medal at every Paralympics since 1980.
"It feels fantastic," he said of the prize.
