A Concord woman who was a caretaker for a disabled senior citizen was charged Feb. 20 with felony theft after taking more than $6,000-worth of goods from the victim over a five-year period, police said.
Kimberly B. Sweatt, 46, was arrested following a four-month investigation by Salisbury police, assisted by State Police and investigators from Tilton and Concord police.
Sweatt removed jewelry, clothing and other items from the home of her victim, someone she spent five years providing personal care and cleaning services for, police said.
As a result of the investigation, hundreds of dollars in stolen items have been recovered, police said.
Sweatt was released on cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Franklin District Court March 23. Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected in this case.
