Disability Services of Jackson County — EITAS will receive $252,737 in additional state financing to serve clients with developmental disabilities through new legislation distributing $2.4 million statewide, Missouri Commissioner of Administration Kelvin Simmons said Tuesday in Kansas City.
The money is coming through House Bill 15, a budget bill that appropriates money through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
Disability Services of Jackson County provides transportation, training and other services to residents with developmental disabilities.
