THE UPCOMING BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF THE AWARD-WINNING PLAY ABOUT HELEN KELLER AS A CHILD
REHEARSALS BEGIN JANUARY 2010 IN NEW YORK.
SEEKING AN ACTRESS TO UNDERSTUDY THE ROLE OF HELEN KELLER: female, 9-12 years old. Helen is deaf and blind. Actress in this role must be extraordinarily intuitive and capable of an animal-like ferocity and curiosity, must have great emotional depth and intelligence. She must be acutely aware of her physicality and be able to repeat movement precisely. Must be able to portray rage, despair, joy and mischievousness.
