LAVALE, Md. — A Maryland mall scheduled a special time for autistic children to visit with Santa.
Officials with the Country Club Mall in LaVale said families of children with autism came to the mall from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 6 for their Sensitive Santa program.
The mall played quiet music and had many of the lights turned off to help children with autism enjoy the experience. The event was scheduled before the mall opened to the general public.
