FRANCISTOWN, Botswana -- In order to improve accessibility to people living with disability, the Francistown City Council (FCC) has built ramps for wheelchair users at the civic centre.
According to FCC senior public relations officer Priscilla Gulubane, the project was started mid December and it is still ongoing. She said the ramps allow wheelchair users to have easy access to the civic centre unassisted when they require any assistance from the council.
“The civic centre is now wheelchair friendly and we hope wheelchair users will take advantage of the latest development,” said the elated Gulubane.
