Natalie DuToit (RSA) continues to be one of the dominating swimmers at the 2010 International Paralympic Committee Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Watched by a record crowd of 1150, DuToit beat Great Britain's Stephanie Millward by just 0.48 seconds in the Women's 100m Backstroke (S9) event. World record holder Stephanie Dixon (CAN) won the bronze medal.
Peter Leek (AUS) took home his fourth gold medal of the Championships, by winning the Men's 100m Freestyle (S8) in a world record time of 57.62. He was followed by Russia's Konstantin Lisenkov and Maurice Deelen from the Netherlands.
In the Women's 100m Freestyle (S2) event, Ganna Ielisavetska won her fifth gold medal in a world record time of 2:24.17, followed by her compatriots Darya Kopayeva and Iryna Sotska on second and third place respectively.
The 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships ended August 21 with the Open Water event at the E3 Strand venue. A total of 649 athletes from 53 different countries participated at the 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, the biggest IPC Swimming World Championships ever.

Leek, DuToit dominate in International Paralympic Committee Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven
