The News and Post in the UK has a feature about Time Travellers, a group of people with learning disabilities, who have become history experts about Carlisle in northern England.
Time Travellers was formed in 2006, by Diane Angus, who works for that area's disability and mental health department. She created the group as a new day activity for disabled adults.
Angus said: “We have one guy, Alasdair, who knows all there is to know about the railway station. And Andy is an expert on the cathedral. He was showing some friends round and a couple of American tourists tagged along because he knew so much they thought he was an official tour guide!”
