Crash of bus transporting disabled adults kills 4 in Ohio

From The AP:

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — A bus transporting disabled adults that crashed in Ohio, killing four, came from a vocational center that had sent its clients home early due to snowy weather.

Investigators still aren't sure if the weather caused a tractor-trailer to swerve across the Interstate 70 median Thursday and collide with the bus in southwest Ohio. The bus driver and three passengers were killed.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says it plans to examine both vehicles on Friday. Authorities say the snow-covered highway was slick, but they aren't sure if the truck was operating at a safe speed.

Six others on the bus and the truck driver were injured. A hospital in Springfield has two of the injured in fair condition. Two critical patients were transferred to a Dayton hospital.
