Artists with disabilities perform as part of The Presidency of John F. Kennedy: A 50th Anniversary Celebration at Kennedy Center

This week as part of The Presidency of John F. Kennedy: A 50th Anniversary Celebration, VSA presents three FREE performances featuring artists with disabilities at the Kennedy Center:

Wednesday, Feb. 2

Violin virtuoso and 2007 VSA International Young Soloists Award recipient Niv Ashkenazi (pictured) in the Terrace Theater (part of Concerts for Young People by Young People).

Friday, Feb. 4

Sibling bluegrass trio the Ransom Notes in the Terrace Theater (part of Concerts for Young People by Young People).

Saturday, Feb. 5

American Idol top ten finalist and 2008 VSA International Young Soloists Award recipient Scott MacIntyre performs on the Millennium Stage. Scott will perform popular songs from his time on American Idol, as well as his original music, and will be available for photos and CD signings after the concert.

All performances begin at 6:00 p.m.
