Join Access Living on 2011 for A NIGHT WITH ROGER EBERT, Access Living’s 2011 Annual Gala. This year, Access Living will honor Ebert with the “Lead On!” Award.
Access Living’s “Lead On!” Award recognizes national leaders who have helped reframe the understanding of people with disabilities and who have helped to remove the barriers-physical and attitudinal-that have excluded people with disabilities from career pursuits and everyday life.
Roger represents the very embodiment of what the award stands for; his disability has not prevented him from continuing the work he loves-reviewing movies, attending film festivals and managing his own festival, creating new blogs, writing new books and now producing his own show.
