The New York Times has a multimedia presentation on its Web site August 5 that features audio of seven people with Parkinson's disease telling their stories of daily living. The interviews seek to uncover: "How does Parkinson's disease impact the body? What about the mind? How do families cope in the face of a progressive disease?"Past multimedia projects in the series called "Patients' Voices" featured people talking about living with bipolar disorder and another on infertility.
