This July 26 is the 20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, one of the most important civil rights victories in U.S. history. To celebrate, TASH is inviting the disability community, advocates and friends to join us as we honor two decades of hard-fought advances for people with disabilities. To mark this historic occasion, TASH is launching its ADA 20th Anniversary Video Series, an interview series with key figures from the disability rights movement discussing the advances, challenges and opportunities facing the community.
TASH is also holding a Summer Symposium for Change July 28-29, a two-day event in Washington, D.C., aimed at eliminating disparities for people of color with significant disabilities. The event includes notable speakers and guests, educational sessions and a Capitol Hill Day to engage Congress on policy issues impacting individuals with disabilities!
