European river cruise offers accessible cabins to disabled travellers

From Travel Weekly:

A European river cruise dedicated to disabled travellers is to be run by specialist UK operator Can Be Done next spring.

The five-night Dutch bulb fields sailing is on MS Alegria, claimed to be the only vessel operating on European rivers offering fully adapted cabins for wheelchair users.

Access is available to the whole ship due to extra wide corridors and cabin doors. Three lifts give access to the three upper decks.

The operator is running coaches from Manchester, Birmingham, Heathrow and Gatwick to rach the vessel.

Prices start at £820 per person with a single supplement of £350. Four excursions are available at a cost of £25 each or £75 for all four.
