Paralympics give visibility to Chinese people with disabilities, who have often been hidden

BBC News reports that "the Olympic Games in Beijing were widely acclaimed as one of the best in living memory and this weekend China is hoping for a repeated success with the Paralympic Games. But there are an estimated 83 million people with disabilities in China and many of them are often ignored and even kept from view."
