UK Easyjet faces legal action after banning a disabled woman from flying alone

From The Mirror in the UK:

Easyjet faces legal action after it banned a disabled woman flying alone.

Wheelchair-bound Marie-Patricia Hoarau was forced off a flight home from Paris to Nice - even though she had already made the outward journey unaccompanied.

Crew said it was because she had no helper. But a passenger who offered to assist was turned down as they had not boarded at the same time.

Miss Hoarau, 39, who was given a ticket for the next flight while staff tried to find another helper, may now sue.

The airline said: "The pilot felt she was a safety risk."
