NY girl competes in Tour de Loop with handcycle

From a photo essay in The Post-Standard in Syracuse, N.Y.:

The 15th annual Oswego Y.M.C.A. Tour de Loop, which included 50 and 30-mile adult bicycle races as well as a shorter children's race, held a series of mass starts near Rudy's along County Route 89 in the town of Oswego, N.Y.

Brittany Kaye, 8, of Oswego (pictured) starts peddling her handcycle during the mass start for one of the youth races held during the 15th annual Oswego Y.M.C.A. Tour de Loop. The handcycle allows her to maintain an active life while living with spina bifida.
