Chicago TV news covers children with a sibling with autism

Chicago's NBC-5 focused on a program at Illinois Masonic Hospital that provides support groups and educates children who have a sibling with autism. The story profiled the Wettig family, who have four boys, one of whom has autism.

Dr. Carol Rolland of Illinois Masonic Hospital says, "They have a tendency to hold this (sibling rivalry) inside, because they feel mom and dad are too burdened, and that's one of the reasons why sibling groups are so important."

The full broadcast report is available on the NBC-5 Web site.
