The reality show "Big Brother 9" will reportedly include its first blind housemate when its new season airs June 5.
According to InEntertainment.com, the show will make a few changes to accommodate the blind housemate. Host Davina McCall (pictured above) will escort him to the house instead of the usual routine of the housemates exiting a limo and walking up the red carpet to the house.
The Herts Advertiser reports that BB9 producers are putting a blind housemate into the house because "the house is 'blind friendly' and it is a chance to change peoples attitudes towards blindness."
The show's premise that 12 people share a house, which this season is in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, UK, and have to compete in tasks each week to receive money for their shopping for the week ahead.
