TORONTO — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man police allege was behind the murder of a homeless man in Toronto's west end.
George Rucinski, 59, was found dead in a laneway on the morning of April 4.
Police say a post-mortem revealed Rucinski, who was an amputee, died of blunt force trauma to the body.
At the time of his death, police said Rucinski was homeless and possibly also a panhandler.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Stephen Downey, 49, for second-degree murder.
